Entertainment! was released in 1979, the debut album by Leeds post-punk band Gang of Four, combining sharp, politically engaged lyrics with an unusually angular, funk-influenced rhythmic approach that distinguished the band from both the more straightforward aggression of punk and the more atmospheric tendencies of much contemporaneous post-punk.
